As a federally/swiss certified photographer, I can resort to a wealth of professional experience - motivated by my passion for photography and its infinite possibilities to capture miraculous moments.
For 14 years I have been working as a freelance photographer for customers locally, throughout Switzerland, as well as in my 50 square meter photo studio in Riehen / Basel-Stadt.
I hold a proven record of many years of experience in the implementation of orders in a wide variety of photographic areas. I am deeply rooted in Basel-Stadt, therefore know my way around Basel, including the whole region around it, very well.

Development / Career
Early on I was able to discover my passion and talent for photography and art. Two years at the School of Design paved the way to a four-year training course as a federally certified photographer, at a photo studio for advertising and fashion in the Lucerne and Basel-Stadt region. Parallel these four years I also attended the vocational school for design in Zurich. Since then, art photography has accompanied me, and I love to implement my own artistic projects in addition to my commissioned work.

My Drive
The exciting and inspiring part about my work is the communication with a wide variety of people, creating creative image concepts, always finding and implementing new individual solutions, as well as being able to take photos in new places and locations and thus always gain new insights into other professional and living environments.
I possess a deep passion for people and the versatility of their emotions, moreover, a profound interest in different cultures, countries and people.
It is my goal to present my customers with photographs, taken with great sensitivity, representing their unique moments, whereby my competence, knowledge, creativity and my empathy always merge in. For me it is delightful to build a “relationship” with the person in front of the camera during a shoot, for only in this way beautiful pictures, seeming natural and authentic, can be captured.

My customers receive professional photographs which are adapted to their individual demands. Which ever you may want to have photographed, it will be shown in its best light. For me personally, the focus is on my customers being satisfied and for them to enjoy the results.
My strength lies in consciously involving the photographed people in the creative process and my openness and interest in people and various context assist with the way of working.
My own experience, in front of and behind the camera, helps me to authentically convey to customers how they can best pose in a photo and bestow a feeling of well-being. This way, feelings of relaxation, lightness and other emotions from within can surface and be captured in pictures.
My many years of experience in professional image editing with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom allow me to put the finishing touches to the image. The colors, details and printout, everything is carefully looked at and optimized again. It is utterly important to me to maintain its originality.
I work with various agencies, face & hair stylists and interior decorators as well as prop masters.
My clientele is as diverse as I am and come from all walks of life: they range from CEOs of large companies to galleries and agencies, from construction and financial companies to architects, from social institutions, foundations to a large number of artists and musicians, private individuals, print and online media.
